  • Develop and maintain a strong network within the music industry to discover emerging talents and established artists.
  • Negotiation and Sales:
  • Utilize exceptional negotiation skills to secure favorable agreements with artists, ensuring mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Collaborate with the legal team to draft and finalize contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Drive sales and revenue growth through effective artist signings and ongoing relationship management.
  • Industry Understanding:
  • Stay abreast of trends, developments, and key players in the music industry.
  • Analyze market dynamics and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with artists, fostering a positive and collaborative environment.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of artist-related initiatives.
  • Promotion and Marketing:
  • Work closely with marketing teams to create compelling promotional strategies for signed artists.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in business development within the music industry, with a focus on signing artists.
  • In-depth understanding of the music industry landscape, including trends, key players, and emerging artists.
  • Exceptional negotiation and sales skills, with a track record of successful artist signings.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
